Biography

Joan Warren Owen is the owner of Hill Country Litigation Services, with offices in San Antonio and Bandera County. She has been a certified private process server for over 12 years and was a litigation paralegal for over 20. Additionally, Joan managed a record retrieval company and has been involved in large scale, document intensive commercial litigation and has expertise in database management and trial preparation and presentation.


Hill Country Litigation Services specializes in local and nationwide process service. We provide professional and dependable service of process as well as mobile notary services, courthouse assistance and more to the legal community. Joan is a member and the Vice-President of the Texas Process Server Association (TPSA), former South Texas Director of TPSA, a sustaining member of the San Antonio Paralegal Association (SAPA) and she is active with the San Antonio Legal Services Association (SALSA) through which she provides pro-bono service of process to the indigent. She enjoys teaching continuing education and mentoring process servers in the San Antonio area.
